Co-authored (with Carol Mooney, MS, CAI) a journal for promoting an invigorating lifestyle and maintaining healthy weight entitled Energy for Life that includes preventive concepts for healthy brain and body.
Over 20 peer-reviewed articles on a wide variety of nutrition and wellness topics.
Her research at Methodist Hospitals Dallas, TX was chosen for presentation at the 4th International Congress on Obesity.
She was the dietitian filmed by PBS in 26 segments of Nutrition Pathways

Dr. Israel has made over 1000 group presentations in the public and private sectors on over 300 topics in the area of health and wellness including twenty-four 6-hour CEU seminars for health professionals and presented them in 40 states each year from 1997 to the present including Aging Brain; Brain Fitness After 30; Memory, Aging and Sleep; Aging Body, Aging Mind; Alzheimer's, Memory and Depression.
She also contributed to Jean Robinson's 2007 Help for Alzheimer's Caregivers, Families, and Friends book.
