Kathryn Fink, Nutrition & Fitness Consultant, teaches clients to conquer emotional
issues with food and weight by learning healthy ways to address weight gain.
She's also an expert in helping clients build healthy eating habits after
gastric bypass surgery. A gifted teacher and motivator, she has helped hundreds of clients find positive ways to deal with life challenges so
that food does not become the solution for every obstacle. As senior nutritionist for an inpatient eating disorder program, Kathryn understands the food and mood connection and assists groups in separating food and feelings, while educating about balanced eating to improve both mental and physical health.
Kathryn blends her nutritional expertise with personal trainer certification from the
internationally-acclaimed Cooper Institute to help clients lead lives which
balance food and exercise. She recently completed a prestigious appointment by the American Dietetic Association as reviewer of its authoritative new position paper establishing standards of care for patients with eating disorders.
She has been an expert contributor to Fitness and Shape magazines. Her education was from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and University of Alabama .
Kathryn's motto reflects her belief in a balanced approach: "There's always

She received the prestigious "Young Dietitian Of The Year" award,
was President of the American Dietetic Association's Nutrition Entrepreneur
group and is a nutrition professor in Dallas , TX .
